The BMW iX2 is a medium-sized electric prestige SUV which was first introduced to Australia at the same time as the second-generation combustion-powered X2’s arrival in 2024.
A competitor to Mercedes-Benz’s EQA the iX2 currently comes in two guises: the eDrive20 with a single motor making 150kW; and the dual-motor xDrive30 that has 230kW of power.
The iX2 has a 64.8kWh lithium ion battery and a range of up to 395km.
The iX2 is among BMW’s growing range of electric vehicles which includes the i5, i4, i7, iX and iX1.
The line-up currently starts at $84,700 for the IX2 Edrive20 M Sport and ranges through to $87,600 for the range-topping IX2 Xdrive30 M Sport.
