The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR will be more powerful and even quicker than the model it replaces, with the revised, brutal updated model due in Australia from April 2021.
The new model will retain the same 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine - widely renowned as one of the most amazing sounding powertrains in the business - but will see some revisions to its outputs.
The V8 unit will continue to push out 405kW of power but will see a torque bump to a mammoth 700Nm, up from 680Nm before. The revisions see the SVR F-Pace capable of dispatching the 0-100km/h sprint in 4.0 seconds, which is 0.3sec speedier than the previous version thanks to a new Dynamic Launch function.

The SVR model retains the same eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive underpinnings, but there is a small price to pay on the fuel use front, as the new version's claimed consumption is 12.1L/100km - 0.4L more than before.
There's more to it than just a tickle under the bonnet, though. The 2021 F-Pace model carries a facelifted look, with a newly redesigned front end with revised grille and bumper finishes that "reduces lift by 35 per cent, lowers drag and amplifies F-Pace's assertive stance".
Inside, the cabin has been given some attention as well, with new materials and revised controls that certainly appear to breathe some life into the F-Pace, which has been around in its current generation guise since 2016.
As such, there's is the brand's new Pivi Pro multimedia system which allows over-the-air software updates as well as the latest in smartphone connectivity. That screen is complemented by a digital display for the driver and new controls for the climate system with new, more up-to-date graphics than the existing model.
Further, there's a new gear selector, new steering wheel, and new pedals, all of which are designed to offer "heightened driver engagement".
The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR will be arriving from April next year, but buyers can place orders now. The price is $141,040 (MSRP), which is up from the previous version which cost $139,290.
