LDV has addressed a significant specification shortcoming in its T60 4WD dual-cab ute by upgrading its braked trailer towing capacity from 3000kg to a more category competitive 3500kg (750kg unbraked).
At the same time, additional active (crash-avoidance) safety tech including autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and a high-definition rear-view camera have been added to the standard features list across all T60 grades.
The model range has been trimmed from eight variants to just three — Max Pro, Max Plus and the long-wheelbase Max Plus Mega Tub — the latter is now a permanent offering after starting out as a limited edition.

Scheduled to arrive in market this month, the MY25 T60 also features electric power steering, although the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder (160kW/500Nm) twin-turbo diesel and eight-speed auto transmission powertrain combination is unchanged.
Those keen on swapping ratios manually will now have to look elsewhere as the previously available six-speed manual gearbox option has been discontinued.
Other spec improvements include microfibre trim on the steering wheel, digital radio and black roof rails.
Both Max Plus models now also feature an improved (high-definition) 360-degree camera view set-up and the reversing camera on the entry-level Max Pro has also been upgraded to hi-def.
Absence of a five-speed manual base model means cost-of-entry has stepped up from just over $41,000 drive-away to $45,253 drive-away for the Max Pro ($42,990 drive-away for ABN holders).
Variant | Price (drive-away) | Price (drive-away with ABN) |
T60 Max Pro | $45,253 | $42,990 |
T60 Max Plus | $52,095 | $49,490 |
T60 Max Plus Mega Tub | $53,674 | $50,990 |
