The Ambition 110TSI sedan continues as the entry trim level in the Octavia line-up, and lists at $22,990 or $24,490 drive away.
These starting prices are $10,800 less than the 110TSI Style that sits above it and $1500 less than its station wagon equivalent.
The MY17 Ambition 110TSI sedan’s list price is just $500 more than the previous model, and combines the previous Ambition plus trim level into one higher spec. Key additions to the standard features list include AEB, active cruise control, a 6.5-inch multimedia screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reversing camera, rear parking sensors and 17-inch alloys.
The 110TSI engine is a 110kW/250Nm 1.4-litre turbo petrol four cylinder unit and comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, with the option of a seven-speed dual-clutch auto for an extra $2300.
The MY17 update follows the MY16 upgrade to the 110TSI engine that arrived mid-2015.
