Audi Q6 e-tron quattro 2025 review: snapshot

Sitting in the middle of the Audi Q6 e-tron range is the Quattro.

More focused on power than the entry-level Performance, the Quattro's primary upgrades are to its powertrain. It wears a starting price of $122,500 before on-road costs.

The Quattro scores a second motor on the front axle, bringing total combined power outputs to 285kW/580Nm and the 0-100km/h sprint time down to 5.9 seconds.

The Quattro extracts a range of 542km (WLTP) from its 94.9kWh battery pack and has an official/combined energy efficiency of 19.5kWh/100km.

Standard equipment is largely the same as the base Performance grade, but the Quattro also gets the S-Line exterior look as standard with 20-inch alloy wheels. It also scores sport seat trim with the S logo imprint, as well as an alternate three-spoke steering wheel with alloy sports pedals.

This adds to the existing suite of Matrix LED headlights, and the full suite of screens and software, consisting of a 14.5-inch OLED multimedia touchscreen in the centre, a 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.9-inch passenger multimedia display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a wireless charger up front, as well as heated seats front and rear with tri-zone climate control.

The 'Tech Pro' package ($4900) includes air suspension, animated OLED rear lights and an electric steering column, while the 'Premium' package ($8900) adds a panoramic sunroof, an AR head-up display, a Bang and Olufsen audio system, colour ambient lighting, acoustic front glass panels and high-output USB ports.

The Quattro already features some of the inclusions of the Style Package, so this pack instead adds even larger 21-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass and black highlights at $3600.

All Q6 e-tron grades get the same array of active safety equipment, which includes an upgraded auto emergency braking suite, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, driver attention alert, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go function.

The Q6 e-tron is offered with a five-year warranty, six years of roadside assist, and an industry standard eight-year/160,000km battery warranty. It also scores a one-year Chargefox subscription.
