After a bit of rebranding, the Great Wall Cannon is now the GWM Ute, which comes in a few different ‘Cannon’-named variants.
A budget rival to the likes of the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger, the GWM Ute in its current generation is only a couple of years old in Australia.
Available in a few variants up to a ‘sporty’ XSR grade, the Cannon is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel that makes 120kW and 400Nm across the range.
The line-up currently starts at $32,990 for the UTE Cannon (4X2) and ranges through to $46,990 for the range-topping UTE Cannon-XSR (4X4).
