The British Supercar maker’s first grand touring model is based on the 720S coupe and uses the same carbon fibre monocoque construction.
The new variation of McLaren’s 4.0-litre V8 brings greater mid-range and low RPM response and performance for the GT, though outright grunt is still astounding at 456kW and 630Nm.
The GT has softer suspension and there’s more luggage space for the mid-engine McLaren to better battle the Porsche 911 Turbo.
The line-up currently starts at POA for the GT (base) and ranges through to POA for the range-topping GT (base).
