323 ignition coils
Asked by Joyce Wilks
At times my 2001 Mazda 323 Astina has lost power and idled very roughly, but then it seems to clear and run well. I have been told I will need new Ignition coils and they are very expensive. I heard that they have been a problem in Mazdas in the past. Has Mazda recalled these cars because if this? Do you think it's worth asking Mazda for assistance with the cost?

8 Aug 2014There has been no recall on this, and I doubt Mazda would be terribly interested in a 2001 model car. There is little you can do other than follow the advice your mechanic has given you.
