95 Ford Falcon transmission issue
Asked by Jimmy Xing Liu
Our 1995 Ford Falcon has been playing up and we suspect there might be a problem with the transmission. Occasionally it loses acceleration and torque, the speedometer needle shakes and when doing speeds in excess of 80 km/h the tachometer clocks in at over 2000 revs when it's normal to be running at 2000 revs when doing 100 km/h. Any ideas of what might be the problem?

2 Apr 2010I'd say you are correct to suspect the transmission and I would recommend you have it serviced.
