My 1991 4.2-litre dual-fuel Nissan Patrol with 190,000 km on the clock goes really well when cold, but as it warms up it starts to backfire and stall whether on gas or petrol. I've had the all the electrics replaced and had it tuned by a gas shop numerous times, but it just goes bad again within 2000 km. Can you give me an idea on what to do?

30 Nov 2010Check the fuel supply side of things; it sounds like it’s not getting enough fuel on either side. Check the fuel pump, they are known to wear out on cars running dual-fuel systems.
