Asked by Alex Masini
With the recent addition of a baby girl, we are looking for a safe, reliable people mover for mum, dad and two kids with baby seats. Under normal circumstances I would head for the new Kia Sorento as my first option but we also need to fit two elderly parents who no longer drive, are not gymnasts, and so we are also thinking along the lines of a van so that getting in and out of the seats is less of a dilemma. Our budget is $35-50,000 or so and it would be a car that we would keep for years to come to do the "sport drop-off" on Saturdays etc.

9 May 2016You don't have to look any further than the Sorento's stablemate at Kia, the Carnival. It's a great family machine and even shares much of its basic engineering with the Sorento.
