I'm looking to buy a second-hand car for around $8000. Ideally, I want a reliable, fuel-efficient, 5-door, 5-seat, small car that is easy and relatively cheap to find parts for. I'm currently driving a 1999 Daihatsu Sirion that is coming to the end of its life and is expensive to run. What car would you suggest having a look for? At the moment I am looking at the Mazda2.

14 Nov 2014You could look at all small models from the mainstream carmakers, like Mazda, and you won’t go wrong. The Mazda2 is a good choice, but you could also look at the Toyota Yaris, Hyundai i20 and Kia Rio.
