Mazda 3: Bumpy ride
Asked by Trevor Broadbent
l find that my new Mazda 3 has a very bumpy ride. My dealer let some air out of the tyres, but that didn't help. l had the shockers checked? and the frequency appeared to be high. Have you had any other complaints? Can I do anything about it, or do I have too live with it?

1 Mar 2013Most cars today have a firmish ride and there's not a lot you can do about it. You could perhaps ask your dealer if you could drive another Mazda3 to compare with yours and make sure yours is representative of the model. Assuming it is you could ask about different tyres, even different shock absorbers. You could also consult a suspension specialist, such as Pedders, for their advice on what you might do.
