Cost of Q3 extended warranty

Asked by Peter Pfeifer

I have an Audi Q3 3.0-litre diesel SUV and my warranty ends soon. I have very low kilometres on the car and I am not sure if I should take up the extended warranty Audi is offering as it seems very expensive. For example, four years is $7390, three years is $5420, and it's $3755 for two years. What do you suggest?

Those numbers seem very expensive and the deal probably locks you into a fixed service plan with the selling dealer. For me, it's not a good deal.
