We are a retired couple in our mid-60s and we drive a 2002 Holden Statesman. We want to buy a medium-sized SUV. We want a car that's a bit easier to get in and out of and a bit higher off the ground. We're also concerned about economy and comfort. We've looked at the Mazda CX-5 and Holden Captiva but there seem to be so many choices it gets a bit confusing.

8 Dec 2014Moving out of a Statesman you will probably want some luxury, so that's definitely not a Captiva. I'd suggest you test drive a CX-5 and a Subaru Forester, both of which get The Tick, and choose between them.
