I bought a Holden Captiva new in 2013 and, after reaching my first 30,000km, I had to take the vehicle in for repairs as the engine light came on. The following two days the vehicle wouldn't start. I was told it was a loose wire. When I booked the 45,000km service the parking sensor light had appeared on the dashboard. It took much longer than the nominated two days. When I got the vehicle back I kept noticing oil leaks on my driveway. I had a motor club inspection which said there was dampness in the sump area and leaking grease on the CV joint boot. I am told the vehicle is not roadworthy.

27 Apr 2015Holden spokesman Sean Poppitt says: "It's unfortunate Ms Dib has experienced some issues with her vehicle. Customer satisfaction is always our priority and we have contacted Ms Dib to have those mechanical repairs performed under warranty at no cost to the customer. A courtesy vehicle will be provided at no cost for the duration and we will also offer Ms Dib a goodwill gesture at the conclusion of any repairs."
