Asked by Antony Hoogenboom
I own a VR Commodore V6 with a cold air intake and I am going to install a V8 throttle body. My problem is which muffler and extractors to run. Some people say Pacemakers, some say HM and some Lukey. I want to run a 2 1/2-inch pipe from the catalytic converter back, but I do not want the drone because backseat passengers will have a headache by the time I get to Albury. Any information would be great.

6 Feb 2004We checked with Peter Schweighofer of Swift Automotive in Melbourne who recommends the HM headers and exhaust system. If your car is an auto, he also recommends you have the shift pattern altered to make it sharper.
