Font suspension trouble - dealer won't listen

I have been having a problem with a front suspension knock on a 2012 BMW 328i with 2500 km on the clock. The Dealers had various people look at it and drive it, but were not able to fault it. Unsatisfied with this I decided it required more investigation and had it shock dyno tested at Pedders and it performed badly. Pedders is concerned at the low grip levels measured and is telling me that normally only cars with worn-out shock absorbers give these low figures. The BMW dealer has become very defensive and has refused to believe the figures
in the Pedders test report, insisting it has not been tested correctly and that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. They have offered to look at it again, but without the correct equipment I can't see how their position will change. I have never been happy with the front suspension and the Pedders test confirms my suspicions. Pedders did hear the knock, but were unable to investigate further, as I didn't want them to. They believe the knock is caused by a faulty strut. Do I persist with the dealer or go directly to BMW?

As the dealer has offered to recheck the car that is where you should start. It would seem that there is a fault with the strut or a bush in the suspension and the dealer can check those things. If that doesn't produce a resolution then you could approach BMW directly.
