Great Wall dealer not honouring warranty?

Asked by John

I bought a new Great Wall V240 ute in 2013. A year later, in August 2014, the air-conditioning failed. It was repaired under warranty, but in it failed again in August 2015. There is no cold air. I went to the dealer I bought it from and they told me they could not honour the warranty. They suggested I take my car to another dealership for the warranty repair. Is this something you would accept?

I would contact the Great Wall Customer Service in 1800 114 672 to find out why the dealer would not do the warranty work, and ask their advice on how to get the work done.
