Holden Barina Spark 2011: Can I change the manual gear lever?

Asked by Leigh

I have become the owner of a 2011 Holden Barina Spark. Can the manual gear lever be changed with a replacement one? The one in the car currently is starting to show signs of deterioration. Can I buy a replacement gear knob/lever from a Holden dealer or auto accessory shop, or do I need to undertake another process to fix this problem? The current knob is hard plastic.

You could try to get one from a dealer, or an auto parts shop such as Bursons, or try a wrecking yard for a second hand one.
