Holden Commodore 2005: Why does it sound loud?

Asked by Cheyenne

My VZ Holden wagon sounds like a Subaru when I’m driving at normal speed or when it’s idling, and I don’t know why! I have been told that it could be the spark plugs, but I just want to confirm before changing them! Do you have any idea?

Without hearing the car firsthand it’s impossible to speculate on what might be wrong with your car, but I would suggest that it’s unlikely to be the spark plugs. Your best course of action would be to get a mechanic to check it for you.
