I purchased a 2017 VW Jetta in late August and from the start the AM radio reception has been very poor with a lot of interference. I've had the car back four times without any success, the last time they tried another radio, but they can't seem to find a problem. The only other thought was that when fitting the tint on the rear window they may have damaged the aerial and the dealer is unwilling to remove the tint as it will ruin the demister and said if it is not the problem I will have to pay the cost of the work and new rear window this does not sound right to me. What's your advice?

9 Mar 2018Take it to a car radio specialist and have them check it. They should be able to tell if it’s the antenna that’s the problem.
