Asked by Tim Suke
My son, 23, is looking to buy a new car, either the Hyundai i30 or the Kia Cerato as he likes the idea that each has a long warranty. Ceratos are running at the moment for $17,990 drive-away. Should he wait for the Kia's facelift with the 2.0-litre engine? Or is the i30 a better car?
Answered by CarsGuide
13 Jun 2016The run-out Cerato is a terrific deal and definitely the value pick. The 2.0-litre update is good but probably not a big deal for a budget buyer, although I give The Tick to both the Kia and the Hyundai.
