THE fuel injectors in my 1990 Toyota Camry need to be cleaned. I've heard there are two ways to do it. One is to run a chemical through the fuel system without removing the injectors. The other is to remove the injectors and clean them. Which method gives the best result?

24 Nov 2006IT'S cheaper to do it without removing the injectors. I have found that to be effective. Removing the injectors is probably more effective, but costs more. I would take the in-car route first.
