Kia Rio sensor problem
Asked by Alan Brown
Recently, when I touch the accelerator in my 2002 Kia Rio the engine stalls. After that the engine performs well. Except for giving the injectors a clean and telling me to run 95-octane petrol the dealer doesn't know what causes it and hasn't offered a solution. I suspect it might be a sensor. Have you heard of any similar issues?

17 Oct 2012I doubt it's the petrol, and like you reckon it could be a sensor. It would be worth cleaning the throttle body as that can sometimes cause the sort of problem you have.
