Mazda 3 2012: Bluetooth dropping out

The Bluetooth in my 2012 MAZDA3 SP20 SkyActiv Luxury Activematic sedan drops in and out when I'm playing music from my iphone, or my wife's and daughter's iphones, which are iphone6. Yet, when I'm in other cars using their Bluetooth, they all play perfectly.
I spoke to Mazda head office and was told it was to do with the Bluetooth in the iphone not being 100 percent compatible with the Bluetooth in the Bose sound system in the Mazda. That didn't really help me much; all I know is that it's damn annoying.

29 Jul 2016It might be annoying, but that appears to be the answer. The trouble is there's no suggestion that you can do anything about it. Try talking to Mazda again and asking for a solution to the problem. Also talk to Apple, to see what they might suggest.
