Mazda 3 2015: Transmission replacement

Asked by P. Ridgway

After only 2500km my 2015 Mazda 3 requires a new auto gearbox. My Mazda dealer advised me that error codes show a problem with solenoid and wrong ratio. Until this happened I was very happy with the car, but now I am concerned with its future reliability. What do you think?

We have heard reports of problems with shift solenoids in the auto. It's not a big problem and I wouldn't be worried about the general reliability of the car once it's been fixed.
