    Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2017: Apple car play control knob not working

    The Apple car play control knob in my 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class doesn’t shift to the next icon on the screen when I turn it. It plays up intermittently. The latest software update has been installed. I’ve made six visits to the dealer, but with no solution. Can you help?

    We contacted Mercedes-Benz hoping they might be able to throw some light on the problem, but without being able to see the car they couldn’t offer any help. Their suggestion, one I endorse, is to take the car back to your dealer and ask them to contact the Mercedes-Benz technical people for help.
