When I recently took my 2009 Nissan Navara D40 for its 50,000 km service I was told my brake pads and rotors needed replacing, at a cost of about $800. But it has only done 44,000 km. They have told me that this is pretty common. They can't be serious, can they?

7 Jun 2012Unfortunately they are serious; it's not uncommon as you can see from Peter Dunn's report. You could consult a brake specialist and see what options they have in aftermarket pads and rotors.
