Pajero Sport vs Prado diesel - which is better?

Asked by Graeme

How does the 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport compare with the Toyota Prado VX diesel for value, roadworthiness etc? It is considerably less expensive, but is there a catch? I don't intend using it a lot off road but would like the ability if needed.

The Pajero is a rugged vehicle that is very good on-road and off, it is roomy, safe and well equipped, while the Prado is a large, reliable, and tough seven-seater. It’s very comfortable, but the diesel’s performance is lacklustre. It’s hard to beat the Pajero.
