Parting with ej

Asked by J.D. Wade

I'M LOOKING at selling my 1962 Holden EJ sedan. It isn't running at the moment, but wouldn't take much to get going. The bodywork has no rust, but the interior needs a little work. It has a 202 motor. How much could I hope to get for it?

NOT a lot, unfortunately. The EJ is gaining in popularity, but it's the Premier that's getting the attention. As yours isn't a Premier, has a non-original red motor, and obviously needs some work, it won't be worth much. It might be more attractive as a parts car for someone who's already restoring one. I would think it would be worth $500-$700 if the body is indeed rust-free. Try a Holden club first before advertising it.
