WITH these new hybrids, if I need to plug it in to recharge does it mean I have to stay in for the night? Or drive around on the other motor? What about a flat to full charge, is this expensive on home power or do I have to cover my roof with sun panels to keep the costs down?

21 Nov 2008A HYBRID such as the Toyota Prius recharges the battery as you drive along, so there's no need to plug it in to mains power to recharge it.
