Put the brakes on a rattle

Asked by name withheld

MY 1977 CL Valiant Charger has a loud rattle in the front end which disappears when I brake or corner heavily. Could it be loose brake calipers? Several other people can't find the problem.

ACCORDING to Valiant expert Des Seaton, loose brake calipers are the most likely cause. Also check the lower shock absorber bolts and make sure they are tight.
