Quick cheap option

Asked by John

I NEED to buy a cheap, used car urgently. I've searched the net and narrowed my choices down to four: a 1995 Saab 900S 2.3-litre auto with 215,000 km for $4000, a 1995 Saab 900CD 2.3-litre auto with 225,000km for $3950; a 1995 Camry Vienta 3.0-litre auto with 320,000km for $2500; a 2000 Daewoo Leganza 2.2-litre auto with 108,000km for $5500. Which do you think I should go for?

THE answer depends on the condition of the cars. Without knowing that it's hard to make an accurate call, but my feeling is the Camry has too many kays on it, the Leganza is too expensive and the long-term durability of Daewoos is unknown to a large extent, which leaves the Saabs. Of the two, I would go for the one with the lower kays, though there isn't much in it.
