The AM reception in my MY 17 Mitsubishi Outlander with Apple Play/DAB/FM and AM radio is absolutely woeful.
A 2016 review commented that "it's muffled and almost impossible to listen to music, let alone talk back radio", and that accords with my view.
Mitsubishi has so far replaced hardware etc., but frankly this has now gone on for four months.
Are you guys aware of this on other vehicles?

24 Mar 2017We haven't had any other reports at CarsGuide, but we have seen plenty of complaints from owners of Outlanders regarding poor radio reception.
From what you say it would seem that Mitsubishi is attempting to fix it, but I am also guessing that they don't really know how to cure the problem.
I would suggest you either ramp up the pressure, on the company, as four months is way too long, or consult a radio specialist about it.
