The fan belt on my 2000 Nissan Patrol 3.0-litre diesel screeches badly. It has been replaced a couple of times, but begins to screech again fairly quickly. I am now putting grease on it about every 500 km. Any suggestions?

29 Jun 2010Take to the pulley with some emery paper to take the gloss off them, if that fails consider replacing the alternator pulley.
