I'm looking at buying a Nissan Patrol, but I've only got $12,000 to spend. I need a 7-seater for the family and 4WD because I live out of town and do a fair bit I dirt and property in the hills. Is the Patrol worth it?
Answered by CarsGuide
29 May 2017The Patrol is a big, tough wagon and generally bulletproof, but I wouldn't recommend buying a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel model earlier than 2005. They had lots engine problems, but with your budget you should be able to buy a later model that isn't prone to engine failure.
