Solution to convex mirrors

Asked by Colin Bockman

I’ve a solution for Don Henderson, who asked about replacing the convex mirrors in his car. Call Keith Read, on 0407 027 330. He specialises in replacing convex mirrors and comes to your home in his fully equipped van. He has replaced the mirrors on all my cars for years. Convex mirrors are totally unsafe as in an emergency situation they require “computing” time which can be the split-second needed to make a decision is lost.

Convex mirrors are not unsafe, they just need the driver to take a different view.
