Timing out

Asked by Garry Farrugia

MY 2004 Holden Vectra CDXI V6 auto is due for the 60,000km service. The service book suggests the timing belt be replaced now, but some dealers tell me it is a misprint and is not due until 100,000km.

HOLDEN says the correct change interval is 120,000km or eight years, whichever comes first.
