Tip for repairing diesel injectors

Asked by Kyle Genn

In reference to Henry Mokadsi's question about his Toyota Hilux injectors I had an RA7 Isuzu Rodeo 3.0-litre diesel and two injectors went. Holden quoted me $1800 per injector, but AG Diesel in Victoria repaired both on an exchange basis for approx. $650 each. It would be worth contacting them if they are close, otherwise search for similar business closer.

Seeking the help of a diesel engine mechanic is a good idea, they often have greater expertise on diesel engines than mainstream dealers and can make repairs at a lower cost to you.
