I'm in the market for a new car and have narrowed it down to the RAV4 hybrid cruiser 2WD for economy and costs, or the VW Tiguan 132 TSI R line with panoramic sunroof. Availability on the RAV4 has extended out to September, so the Tiguan now available locally seems the choice. Could you update me on ongoing issues with this Tiguan model? Apart from servicing cost the Tiguan has a history. I am wary of ongoing issues with VW.

21 Jun 2019While VW’s history over the last few years has been somewhat chequered there haven’t been any major issues in more recent times. I don’t believe you should be concerned about the Tiguan.
