I've had an ongoing electrical/computer fault in my 2008 VW Polo since 2010 when it was still under warranty. It has had to be taken back to the dealer five times because it failed to start and every time they have hooked it up to the computer they have identify faults, but then it seems to reset and they tell me they can't fault it. They are now charging big money just to look at it when I'm sure it relates back to a warranty repair. Any suggestions, other than sell it?

29 Mar 2013It apparently has an intermittent fault and while they can be hard to trace it is perfectly reasonable for you to want a solution. I would maintain the rage at your dealership, certainly seek advice from consumer affairs people, and keep pressing VW for a solution.
