While highway driving in our 2009 Subaru Impreza with the cruise control switched off EMS and ABS lights illuminated and Cruise started to flash. The car still ran OK. An auto electrician found errors with the catalytic converter, and has deleted the problems from the onboard computer. Could using 91 RON have caused this?
Answered by CarsGuide
27 Mar 2015The Impreza is approved to run on 91-octane, so there should not be any issues caused by the fuel.
