WHEN having my 35,000km VY Commodore Series II serviced, I was told that the radiator had severe rusting. I was told it would cost $400 to repair. Should I let them do it or do you have any tips to solve the problem?

28 Aug 2009ASK them to show you where it's rusting. If it's just the coolant that is a rusty colour, have them change the coolant and make sure you regularly change it at least once a year. If the rust is causing a leak, have it repaired.
