My 2014 Holden Cruze SRiZ Series 1.6 turbo has I believe misfired. It’s very jerky before the turbo kicks in. Once it does, it’s fine. When I queried the misfiring at services I was told the turbo has a sweet spot. I get that, but this was jerky. Two days ago, the engine light came on while driving, flashing, and the car started shaking and shuddering violently. I was lucky to limp home. I called Holden roadside assist three times, before being put on hold three times and then automatically hung up on three times. Now it just shakes if I start it. Are these models known for computer fails or exhaust system issues?

16 Mar 2018I’d say you have a turbo problem. Get it to a dealer and have it checked out. Wit the problem you describe you should be able to clearly show the dealer what you are concerned about.
