Mitsubishi Triton: Vibrating seat

Asked by Jeff

I would like some answers regarding the 2017 Mitsubishi Triton GLX 4×4 passenger seat that vibrates /shakes when vacant. It’s quite concerning, also a very hard ride. Could this be the shockies/suspension? If so should there be a recall as Mitsubishi are aware of this, but hard to get answers.

Any number of things could be exciting the passenger seat, the wheels and tyres, driveline, engine. It’s not likely to be the suspension/shocks, although they would be prime suspects when it comes to the hard ride. Take it to a suspension specialist and check out the options for springs, shocks and bushes.
