You can't use lrp

Asked by Barry Hunt

I have read that Lead Replacement Petrol is PULP (which I assume is Premium Unleaded Petrol) with an additive such as Valvemaster. In that case, why is LRP always a few cents cheaper than PULP? Can I use LRP in a car designed to take PULP (1992 Honda Prelude)?

I can't explain the pricing policy of the fuel companies. But by law you are not permitted to use anything other than unleaded petrol in a car designed to use unleaded, that is, a car sold after 1986.
