2021 Audi Q7 pricing and specs detailed: Increased cost for BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Lexus RX, Volvo XC90 and Volkswagen Touareg rival
Aside from the SQ7 flagship, the Q7 range is now dearer.
Audi Australia’s second-generation Q7 large SUV has become more expensive – with one exception.
The entry-level 45 TDI variant has gone up $1000, to $104,300 plus on-road costs, while the next-up 50 TDI version has risen by the same amount, to $115,300.
Meanwhile, the mid-range 50 TDI S Line and 55 TFSI S Line variants have jumped up $1200, to an identical $122,500, while flagship SQ7 version is unchanged, at $162,500.

For reference, the 45 TDI and 50 TDI variants are motivated by a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing either 170kW/500Nm (45 TDI) or 210kW/600Nm (50 TDI).
Elsewhere, the 55 TFSI S Line version uses a 250kW/500Nm 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6, while the SQ7 TDI variant is powered by a 320kW/900Nm 4.0-litre twin-turbo diesel V8 with a 48V mild-hybrid system.
Either way, the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Lexus RX, Volvo XC90 and Volkswagen Touareg rival pairs an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system.
