Mitsubishi Australia has confirmed pricing and updated specifications for the 2023 model year Outlander, the model’s second update since its current generation was introduced in late 2021.
With the updated Mitsubishi Outlander expected to arrive starting from January 2023, prices are up a small amount over the previous version, by just $250 for each variant except the top-spec Exceed, which is up by $1000.

The front-wheel drive Outlander ES variant starts the range at $36,240 before on-road costs now, with the AWD version $38,740. The ES gains rear AEB and rear cross traffic alert, as well as auto high beam.
A smaller 8.0-inch touchscreen replaces the 9.0-inch multimedia display due to parts shortages, which also removes wireless Apple CarPlay.
Mitsubishi has also included a new $41,490, front-wheel drive LS Black Edition in the lineup, which brings with it 20-inch black alloys, as well as black door mirrors, front bumper, grille, B- and C-pillars, and premium paint colours. Inside, the trim and headlining are black too.
Above that, the top grade for front-wheel drive Outlanders is the Aspire, coming in at $43,240 that is also up $250 compared to previous pricing.
However, the top-spec Exceed and Exceed Tourer (available in AWD only) score the headline changes to the 2023 Outlander range, as well as higher price rises of $1000.
For $50,990 in Exceed spec, or $53,490 for Exceed Tourer, Mitsubishi has added its Mi-Pilot assisted driving feature which advances the Outlander’s adaptive cruise control system, bringing with it features like lane keep assist, traffic jam assist, and speed limit assistance.
Both variants now also gain heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and new two-tone paint options.
The Mitsubishi Outlander's drivetrain, which is the same across the range, remains unchanged from the 2022 model year.
The Outlander is powered by a 135kW/245Nm 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, and transfers power to the wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
