2024 Lexus LX pricing and specs confirmed: Sports Luxury adds seven-seat option to mount more aggressive luxury challenge against Audi Q7, BMW X7, Mercedes GLS and Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series Sahara
Lexus has added a third-row option to bring seven-seat capacity to Sports Luxury variants of its full-size LX SUV.
Already available as a seven-seater in entry-level versions of the LX 500d and LX 600, the new three-row option means large family-and-friends accommodation is now offered in the previously five-seat-only Sports Luxury grade.
Available now, the seven-seat LX 500d Sports Luxury is priced at $176,661, plus on-road costs, with the LX 600 Sports Luxury weighing in at $181,361 before on-roads.

The third row is auto-folding and brings full-length curtain airbags and USB-C ports on either side of the (two) additional seats.
Relative to the five-seat Sports Luxury, the seven-seat (petrol) LX 600 grade deletes the existing cargo space cover, while soft-close doors and a 30-litre auxiliary fuel tank are deleted from the (diesel) LX 500d’s standard specification.
The Lexus LX 600 is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol V6 producing 305kW/650Nm, while a 227kW/700Nm 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel V6 resides under the LX 500d’s bonnet.
Both engines send drive to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission, with each offering low-range running and a 3500kg (braked trailer) towing capacity.
Highlights from the LX Sports Luxury standard features list include heated and ventilated front and rear (outboard) seats, ‘leather-accented’ upholstery, a heated steering wheel, centre console ‘cool box’, second-row ‘Rear Seat Entertainment system’ and ‘Takanoha’ wood trim on the centre console and doors.
The flagship LX Ultra Luxury is a four-seater based on the turbo-petrol LX 600 only.
